To the entire Guru community:

It's with a heavy heart that I must inform you that this site, Guild Wars Guru, will be shutting down on July 1st and will remain in Archive Mode. Over the past 11 years, we've become, and continued to remain, the #1 fansite for Guild Wars, and it's all because to you guys. Without such a strong and passionate community, Guru would have never made it this far and so we thank you for that.

And while we will be saying good-bye to our home here, we will continue to host forums for the GW community over at our sister site, Guild Wars 2 Guru. In fact, you are more than welcome to head on over now and begin posting. If you have any threads you'd like to transfer over, now would be the time.

So once again thank you, and especially those that contributed their time and knowledge to make Guru the amazing place it was. We'll see you over at Guild Wars 2 Guru!

Vusak Frost Gate Guardian Join Date: Apr 2005	Faction for skills in PvE ok, just to clarify - im NOT suggesting using faction for PvE characters to unlock skills. my suggestion is for PvE characters to be able to use faction to purchase skills from the skill vendors throughout tyria for already unlocked skills on that account. eg. make PvP character - get 1000 faction - unlock "stoning" - get 1000 faction again. make PvE character - get to Lions Arch - goto skills vendor and purchase "stoning" for the PvE character with faction. so youve obviously put in the work to get the skill, and it allows peeps to develop new PvE characters without having to replay quests over and over again. alternatively make it cost faction + gold. but not skill points, thats the point of this thing, to make it so you can collect skills youve already unlocked previously, without having to spend skill points.
